Evidemment des solutions alternatives ou complémentaires à la chasse pour réduire le nombre de sangliers sont à l’étude.
Actuellement, il existerait deux méthodes :
La première, testée en Espagne, s’est révélée impossible à mettre en place (je cite cet article) :
« Lors de la présentation du projet, différents groupes de défense des animaux ont assuré aux médias qu’il s’agissait d’un projet pionnier en Europe dont l’objectif était de stériliser les sangliers afin de réduire leur activité de reproduction dans, et autour des zones urbaines. Mais l’idée n’était ni pionnière ni efficace. Comme l’a admis Giovanna Massei, membre de l’équipe de recherche qui a mis au point le vaccin, le traitement présente de sérieuses limites. Les sangliers femelles adultes ont en effet besoin d’être injectées tous les ans. »
On voit bien ici que les anti-chasse se vautrent encore dans les solutions imaginaires (à l’image du Parti Animaliste aujourd’hui). Ils doivent croire qu’il suffit de brailler très fort pour que les solutions apparaissent comme par magie.
Mais c’est la deuxième solution baptisée HogStop, testée avec un certain succès aux Etats-Unis (voir cet article), qui retient toutes les attentions. Imaginez : Une solution naturelle basée sur des compléments alimentaires qui font baisser la fertilité des mâles…ça semble parfait !
Sauf pour UN détail (je cite l’article) :
« Selon le site web de l’entreprise, HogStop est un mélange d’aliments naturels qui réduit le nombre de spermatozoïdes des sangliers, agissant ainsi comme un contraceptif mâle. Ce n’est pas un poison et il ne tue pas les sangliers, mais il ne doit être utilisé que dans des mangeoires qui leur sont destinées, et conçues pour empêcher toute autre espèce d’y pénétrer. »
Vous avez compris, si ça marche pour les sangliers, ça marche aussi pour TOUTES les autres espèces ! Donc il existe une légère contrainte : les sangliers doivent être les seuls à pouvoir manger le HogStop ! Donc soit on invente la gamelle qui repousse toutes les autres espèces, soit on les capture, pour ensuite les nourrir avant de les relâcher. Non mais pourquoi pas hein…on vous regarde !
Encore une fois, il n’existe rien d’autre dans la musette des anti-chasse que de fausses solutions et autres poudres de perlimpinpin. Mais ils vont s’agiter soyez-en sûrs…pour rien hein…mais ils vont s’agiter.

Pour la solution qui ne maîtrise pas les effets sur les autres espèces ce n’est pas un problème pour eux puisque ce qui les motive ce n’est la nature mais nuire le plus possible aux chasseurs . Globalement chiche on les laisse jouer aux apprentis sorciers mais ce sont eux qui indemnisent les dégâts dans les zones où ils interviennent et on fait le bilan ds quelques années.
Heuu un truc me turlupine, si on commence a stériliser les sangliers, ils finiront par ne plus se reproduire, donc extinction de l’espèce. Bah bravo les soit disant protecteurs des animaux de viser l’extinction de race animale
Ces anti-spécistes du Parti Animaliste, comme cet élu de Montpellier, Eddine Ariztegui, n’ont aucun sens pratique, ni aucune idée de la bonne gestion de l’argent public (ou privé d’ailleurs).
Les idées les plus loufoques sont avancées pour la gestion de la nature comme ici celle de vouloir gérer la décroissance ou le contrôle de la population de sangliers par des solutions contraceptives farfelues.
Il serait bien qu’ils s’appliquent à eux-mêmes les solutions qu’ils préconisent pour les animaux.
Vu la prolifération des antispecistes il serait temps qu’ils s’appliquent à eux-mêmes des traitements contraceptifs.
On est envahi.
Et pourquoi pas des capotes en libre service à côté des souilles !
